Niagara Tourney
On Friday Nov. 3/23 the U15 AA Clippers took part in the Peter Mancuso November Challenge Tournament in Niagara Falls.
First Up Friday morning The clippers would face then Northumberland Nighthawks and would skate away with a hard fought 4-1 victory to open the tourney.
Next the Clippers would face a strong Oshawa Generals squad and would keep it 0-0 until late in the third when The Gens popped a late goal then added an empty netter to take away a 2-0 victory.
On Saturday Nov.4/23 The Clippers would face The Clarington Toros. this would be a tight battle and The Clippers would fight to the end and fall to the Toros 3-2.
On Saturday evening after a day at the falls, The Clippers would face the Seaway Valley Rapids, This would be a clean tight game and in the end the Clippers would fall 1-0 and would be eliminated from the tourney.
Next up The Clippers are home to the Markham Waxers On Tuesday evening.
