Playoff Game # 6&7 (King Back to Back)
On Friday Feb. 23/24 The U15 AA Clippers were on the road To Nobleton to play the King Rebellion. The Clippers would come into this one with a depleted line up due to suspensions and illness. Ian Lynch #66 and Peter Siotas #13 would be called up from The Clippers farm team and would be in The line up. The Clippers out shot King but could only manage to put one past the opposing netminder. Cole Burnett #19 would tally, assisted by Owen Chapman # 9 and Dom Barbiero # 88 in a 3-1 loss.
Then On Sunday Feb. 25/24 The Clippers would host The Rebellion. The Clippers would jump out to an early 2-1 lead but King would reply with 2 quick ones of their own and would regain the lead for good in this one and defeat The Clippers 6-4. Dom Barbiero # 88 would score unassisted on his first goal, he would then score again assisted by Evan Duncan # 23 and Cole Burnett # 19. Owen Chapman # 9 would score assisted by Kaiden Madala # 14, and then again unassisted in a 6-4 loss.
Next up The Clippers host The Upper York Admirals on Tuesday night, this one promises to be a feisty one, as The Clippers try to play spoiler to The Admirals playoff hopes.
