The Clippers would come ready to play. The Shipmen were physical and hard on the forecheck from the get go. Owen Chapman # 9 would open the scoring and Cole Burnett # 19 would then tally late in the game to secure the 2-0 victory and cap off a 4 point week. Weston Palmer # 92 was stellar between the pipes for The Clippers earning the shutout win.
This would be a costly win as Jackson Kerswill # 7 would leave the game after a knee on knee collision, Thomas Orr # 43 would leave with a knee injury and Tyler Cosgrove # 76 would leave with an undisclosed upper body injury. Along with the injuries, Evan Duncan #23 was suspended for 2 game's and Cole Burnett # 19 was suspended 3 games for their part in a late 3rd period melee.
